Worst experience ever!
It's started right, the audio quality is decent, and the noise cancellation is ok. But can't use headphones fully without the app. Settings like proximity sensors, EQ, noise cancellation level, firmware updates with fixes, etc. are only available in the app. The junky app in the app store was somehow working for me at the beginning. Very impressed with sound quality and noise canceling
These replaced a pair of Sony WH-1000XM2 headphones. Sound quality wired is a order of magnitude better than the Sonys, even with the noise canceling turned on. Sound stage is very impressive with very little white noise. I do wish that they came at the least with AptX but BT with an Apple iPhone and AAC is still better than the Sonys. Classic and superb B&O quality
As always with the updated H9 the H9i delivers excellent sound and build quality. Hard to find a better looking headphones.
