FiiO BTR1 Bluetooth Headphone Amp

Great for in-ear, not for headphones
Its very tiny, easy to use, and great sound for only being AptX and not AptX-HD or LDAC. Whats not so good is the battery life, which is not good (if using AptX at high volume, expect 5-6 hours max, if not, you may stretch it to 11), long charging time (2+ hours), and while it can emulate the control buttons on headphones, it cannot pass them on. To answer a call, you have to touch the button on this device, and not the button on the headphones. ... Show More

Best Bluetooth receiver I've tried
Other Bluetooth receivers I've tried have been noisy and had awful frequency response. I know FiiO from their headphone amps and digital converters. This receiver lives up to the name. No frills, just great sound and no noise. I use this with my custom JH Audio Roxanne ear monitors. And it sounds great, even with HD files. Plus, the built in microphone is wonderful for phone calls, my friends tell me it sounds great. I'd highly recommend this receiver.
