Great drone for a beginner.
Get the fly more combo so you can have fun flying your drone for much longer without having to recharge your battery. It is worth it. Took just one flight to turn me from a beginner to a drone enthusiast.

Excellent choice for beginners and experts
This is the second drone I got my boyfriend. The first was a starter drone with little to no features. When he got this one he was excited to start using it. He was impressed with all the advanced features and flies the drone almost daily. He is now taking a certification class because he wants to fly it in more advanced ways. This is a great choice for those drone fliers that are new to the game and even those experts. It takes great video and photos and gets incredible heights and views. I'm very impressed! Even I could fly it without crashing!!

Sure glad i bought one of the last Sparks!
I had (until lat May), Phantom 3 Standard, Spark, Mavic Pro, purchased in that order. The Spark became a victim of my stupidity of flying it in heavy winds while camping..... hit a tree trying to bring it back in, and landed in water. Was unable to retrieve till next morning. Great first drone
Mavic Mini is my first foray into drones. I was not disappointed by anything with the product with the exception of the instructions being a bit too primitive. B&h shipped lightning fast and had the right price to boot. Overall, this drone will serve the beginner well as this beginner has come to find.

Best Drone on the Market for this price!!
DJI is the leader in drones and the Mavic Mini is absolutely awesome. Easy to use, high quality, well made is the start. Awesome camera with still and video capability is amazing. Long live battery, quick charging, and more. The only down side, you might have to take your case off of your phone if it is thick to clamp it in the controller... that or opt to purchase one of the many other phone/tablet clamps available online. You can't go wrong with this unit and having the backing of DJI makes it that much better!!

Awesome drone with great price
Its really awesome how much feature you can get from the tiny pack. Videos are sharp and its easy to control. I wish raw functionality was included. Great drone for day to day shoot.

Affordable and VERY powerful D
It's been one of the best technology purchases I have made in the past decade. It's truly incredible how intelligent and well-performing this drone is at its size. This is my first real drone, and I think it's an excellent way to get started in this hobby. I would highly recommend not only this drone but the fly more combo allowing you to continuously fly with multiple batteries.

Incredible!
When I bought the drone all was simple and fast. Once I got it I used it for the first time next to a pyramid near Yucatan, in mexico and it was amazing. It is really easy to transport it and the batteries last for perfect time plus with the combo you have 2 extra batteries. There several ways to fly it, the sport mode is really good. The quality of the video is super good and you can easily have your content in your phone super fast. For the price is a perfect option to start learning how to fly a drone, just be bareful with the trees, cable, wind, etc. 100% recommend it!

Unbelievable value
So much quality for the price. This little drone is very stable. ( I was worried about that). Awesome pictures and video. I have had no issues with wind or connectivity. Full disclosure, I keep it under 400 feet and don't fly if wind is over 25mph. My phone battery would not last as long as the remote and three-pack with the drone so I did have to upgrade my iPhone 6. Bout time I guess. The Fly app is very user-friendly. The social media apps make very easy to share quickly. (better than gopro's social media apps).

Not wanting to crash or lose my drone on its first outdoors flight, I had a certified Navy Recon Drone Operator to check it out. He gave me a few tips and gave the drone Five Stars. For the price and what I will be using it for, I have no regrets. My photo: my first flight was indoors = 5 stars = No crash and burn ;-)

Love the package but hate the new app and firmware
I got the drone and It is exactly what I wanted especially for indoor work. Right now I live in a TFR caused by the POTUS and the whole area is restricted. The problem is that the new app and firmware will not allow me to fly the drone inside my own house. It completely shuts down. I have contacted DJI about this and they say that there is a new firmware coming in late December. Well, I have not seen it and the drone is still grounded. I am very disappointed.

NO 24FPS
How do you release a modern drone without 24fps? Yet DJI gives Europeans 25fps!!!! But hey F the US and our 24FPS!!!! Give this expensive piece of garbage to your kid to learn on then get a Mavic Pro.

Great beginners drone
This is my favorite purchase in a long time. I've never operated a drone before and the mavic mini is a great drone to start with. The controls are easily navigable, image and video quality are amazing for such a small sensor. The fly more combo is a must have, the battery life is long, but with 2 extras you can fly that much more.

Great Drone - Caveat Emptor
I'd really love to give the Mini 5 stars, but many folks would argue it doesn't deserve even 1. It's not the Mini's fault. It's DJI's fault. Great hardware, but poor software. DJI builds some of the best drones on the market. Most of those use their Go app. They apparently decided that the Mini needed its own app (Fly). The Mavic Mini is an awesome drone for its size, portability, and price! Its great for quick get aways with family or friends.
