Just got it, seems good for a $430 laptop. warning: no USB-C
If you look at the specifications at Dell, unless the 5584 has a discrete graphics card, there is no USB-C. https://topics-cdn.dell.com/pdf/inspiron-15-5584-laptop_users-guide_en-us.pdf It also has a fingerprint reader, which was not in the description/specification. Seems fast. I just got it setup and it boots as expected with Windows on it. Keyboard has a decent feel. I find the backlight makes it harder to see the keys in the daylight. Gray with white backlight does not have enough contrast. Given the price and features, it is a great deal for a laptop.

I'm pleased but, the keyboard is tough on the eyes
The thing works great. Nice touch screen - quick boot up. I was able to add a second SSD and 8 gigs of memory (quite easily). Only complaint - the silver keyboard (even though it is back lit) is REALLY - I mean REALLY hard to see. I'm not a touch typist, so, I make a lot of mistakes. Given that I do much of my work on a desktop (with a 33 monitor) and mostly use this for YouTubes and Forums, I can live with it. Had I known (and some reviewers did mention it) I would have tried for a different model. Still the price/value (I mean, it's a Dell) is hard to match.

Great product!
Right out of the box, ran without skipping a heartbeat! Good quality product and easy to set up. But we'll see, I've only had it 2 weeks.
