I had an original Roland Space Echo when they first came out and it was tape based. The heads moved to change the time between echoes. It was a very sophisticated piece of equipment and it sounded great. As much as I wish I still had that unit it has been gone for 35 years. Enter the digital Roland Space Echo Pedal. It sounds just as great as the tape. But it is better. You have more control to dial in exactly what you want and no tape issues. I lit up when I plugged it in because it sounded so sweet.
