Expensive, but spectacularly good
These are just fantastic. A premium product ranging from the case to the cords to the earbuds and, most importantly, the sound. I have owned many noise cancelling headphones. When my father in law's dog ate my last pair, I was bummed but remembered a friend having me listen to these things. I thought they were fantastic with incredible noise reduction and great sound. So I coughed up the $ and bought a pair. My father in law and his Rhodesian Rid... Show More

Bose QC20i
It's super cool product as it promise, it does cancel the noise, and I like it more than QC15. It's rechargeable, lightweight to carry. And B&H does not disappoint me for their service and high speed shipment.

Great for the frequent traveler
Anyone who has spent many hours on an airplane knows the benefits of noise canceling headphones. They isolate you from the constant drone of the airplane and provide you with the ability to listen to content at a reasonable audio level. I have carried noise canceling headphones for years. The big drawback is that they can take up significant space in your briefcase/bag. I had read a number of reviews of the QuietComfort 20i in-ear headphones. All... Show More

This Bose is a winner
A winning balance of practicality and sound quality. I am an audiophile who is also involved in production of classical music and other 'unplugged' recordings. I own a few high-end earphones like the shure se-535 and westone 3 which deliver better sound quality for dedicated listening in quiet environments (like the recording studio and the library). Yet I travel a lot by plane and I find this Bose product to be an unbeatable solution for active ... Show More

Very Nice!
Went back and forth on either the QC15i's or these. Sampled both at a Bose store and still could not decide. Then looked up reviews. Finally chose these, more suitable for travel!

Almost There
The QC 20 is hands down the best Noise Cancelling headphones you can own. I was walking down a noisy street with it one day and upon flicking the power switch to On, it felt as if all the passing trucks and pedestrians have disappeared into thin air. I looked around me in disbelief as cars and trucks rushed past me in silence, as if I was watching a modern silent film. I have owned the QC 15 for a few years before I made this purchase, and the no... Show More

Hush-a-bye-bye
Despite traveling from three to five months out of the year, I have somehow survived over the years without noise-canceling headphones. My travel kit includes a variety of earbuds to listen to music on the go and cheap, disposable, foam earplugs when I just need to mute the noise on a long flight. I have been curious about noise-canceling headphones, though, especially after listening to some Bose demo headphones. (Even though I tried over-ear ca... Show More

Bose earbuds outstanding
The new QC20i noise canceling in-ear headphones from Bose are quite good. Interestingly they do not need to be inserted deep into the ear in order to effectively cancel ambient sound and perform well musically. When in their carrying case they take up much less room than my QC15 headphones do in theirs yet sound at least as good. USB recharging is a plus, as is the ability to listen to music when the noise canceling circuitry is switched off. I'v... Show More

Very good, very comfortable
The in ear phones have an excellent fit and very good sound including noise cancelling. Although not to be compared with full ear headphones their quality exceeds most if not all in ear phones I know.

Best Noise Cancelling - SQ is sub-par
I purchased this for airline travel and road trips. They have hands-down the best noise cancelling of any headphones I have tried so far (only second to the $+ pilot headsets), but the sound quality is seriously lacking compared to less-expensive Sennheiser headphones. They do sound good, but when comparing to great sounding headphones of similar price, these sound like throwaways. They also sound noticeably worse when the NC is turned off, so if... Show More

Love these Headphones
The noise cancellation is terrific. I was concerned that they wouldn't stand the test of bus and NYC street noise, but they rock. slightly concerned about the jack that plugs into my iphone/ipad that it may wear out, but so far so good. Worth the extra money and i am very happy with them

Big surprise for such a small item
I bought this for my husband who's a business traveler and I got tired of him using my Bose QC 15's (the traditional over the ear ones). He used it so much that he actually wore off the leather on the ears for these and complained about how the over-the-ear headphones didn't fit him quite nicely. So, I bought him the in-ear QC 20i for Christmas. He LOVES them!! I even tried them and they (dare I say) beat the QC 15's in terms of noise cancellatio... Show More

Quieting the noisy van
I use these headphones to listen to my music or answer my calls (hands-free) in a noisy van or with a carful of kids. They are absolutely wonderful in that I can hear what I want. Also they are very comfortable.

best small in ear noise reduction
These Headphones are almost as good as the large over ear Bose noise reduction headphones. Tried them on a particularly noisy flight made ride very comfortable

Best In-Ear
I've used over the ear Noise Cancellation for about 3 years and was hesitant about the In-Ear ability to remove white noise. However, these work as well as the Bose Over Ear head phones.

Good Noise Canceling Headphones
Purchased the QuietComfort 20i Acoustic Noise Cancelling In-Ear Headphones from Bose for airline travel. The headphones do not provide quite the noise reduction of the over the ear models, but are more comfortable. This is especially true if you sleep / rest with your ear on the headrest of your seat. They are much more compact for traveling than the over the ear models.

Great product
Product really does reduce the noise. Planning on using to travel with to drown out the plane noise.

Great headphones
I bought these primarily for air travel. So far I'm delighted with the noise canceling and audio qualities. The power unit for the noise canceling takes some getting used to, however it's not too cumbersome and is a small price to pay for the audio quality

Disappointing!!!
Planned to use it for flying to replace my Sony NC-33. First the earplugs are hard to position because of the winglets whose purpose I cannot figure out. They generate an audible background noise when powered even when not connected to an Ipod or other similar device; my Sony has no background noise. The battery pack is light and small but is at the end of a long cord and has no clip to attach to a belt or pocket. Also to connect to an Ipod, it h... Show More

Simply the Best!
I ordered this Noise Cancellation QC20 headset, receiving it from BH Photovideo more than a month ago with my great satisfaction of the product. This set really kills the noise as I need to cancel it out when commuting Metrolink to work everyday. What I really like about this headset is it is really compact and so light. Especially, it has lots of bass making the music suddenly become as if I am listening to the live music. The more I hear it wit... Show More

Better than QC15!!!
Just sold my QC15 Headphone. The QC20i block noise better, sound better, are better to transport. The noise canceling is really incredible and it deserves it's name. The only downside might be that you have to charge them with the usb cable and can't really use batteries. On the other hand you can still use them without the NC - not so the QC15 which use batteries but don't work without them at all. It's a great product and i would buy them again and again.

Great headset
I use a headset most of the day, at office, travelling, etc. This is the best set I have owned so far. Noise canceling is great and the aware mode is very useful. I like the fit, not over or in ear. Just wish that the box at the end of cable was smaller and lighter, but can live with it.

Great noise canceling!
I just took these new headphones on a trip overseas and they worked like a dream! They cancelled out the plane's engine incredibly well and, although they'll only cancel noise when turned on, you can still use them as regular headphones when they're turned off. So, even when they ask you to turn off your portable devices, you can still use the headphones. The main think I don't like about them is that the power source is large and clunky. When using them on the plane, the weight of the power source would sometimes weigh them down and they'd become unplugged.
