Does not work with new HP Spectre x360 13t
New ZenDrive with new Laptop. Drive does not work with either provided USB-C cable or USB-A Y cable to power. File Explorer does not show ZenDrive. Need paper clip to open drive and insert disc. File Explorer still does not recognize drive. B&H Service is excellent. They replaced non-functioning drive but replacement does not work either. I received an RMA from Asus for repair but Asus does not pay for postage to repair center so it may not be worth it. According to another reviewer the drive works with a Mac. My computer is Windows 10.

Useless piece of garbage, worth ZERO $
Blatant lie that it works for a Mac. I bought two, neither one mounts discs thought they do spin up. Most of time the drive itself is not even visible in disk utility. I AM using the correct data and power USB connector. It's also cheaply made, fragile. Not worth the time let alone the money. There's a reason they have the rebate.

Very nice value priced external DVD drive
Bought the drive when I purchase my new laptop. I needed to load software that I own onto my new computer. Not really going to use it to watch movies so blue ray compatibility was not a requirement. The drive works as advertised and I purchased it for a very low price. A definite best buy.

It works
This thing is thin and light. Was worried it would not work because I'm used to the old cd drives that are really heavy and sturdy. It works just fine. The tray does not feel very sturdy but I hope it will last a while. It was a decent price and it does work.

Plugged n Played
Plugged it into my current model MacBook Pro, and it just worked. Thats all I expect. I appreciate that it shipped with both USB-A and USB-C cables in the box.
