Big monitor, big value!
I use this monitor for video editing (corporate videos). It's hooked to my MacBook Pro with a HDMI cable out of the Mini Display port. The extra real estate is wonderful. In Final Cut I have the Canvas and Viewer windows on the ASUS and the Bin, Tools, and Timeline directly below it on the MacBook. This makes working a lot easier and more efficient. Great display and quality...
I've used ASUS products for years. I have the VE248H and VE249H (both 24, same size & shape housing) both mounted to a Halter Dual-Monitor Desk Clamp Stand using the VESA (100 x 100mm) mount holes on the back of monitors. Excellent bang for buck
I use this monitor as part of a two monitor setup for programming work. The screen is crisper, with nicer colors than the screen it replaced (same size, 2-4 year old Samsung model). Not as beautiful as a top of the line model but excellent quality for the price. I'm using it with a mac mini (connection via HDMI cable), and setup was plug and play. Cons are minor: not adjustable/no wall mount (but not expected for the price), and when I was using a VGA connection, it would sometimes take a good 30 seconds to find the correct input source.

Awesome Monitor!
I use this as an external display for my Macbook Pro! amazing colors super sharp, all around gorgeous imagery. The built in audio is rubbish. I don't mind though because I never use it. I mostly use the monitor for gaming/photo & video editing/ graphic design. If I had one complaint I would say adjusting the screen settings is a pain. The screen being bright, I can't see the icons above the buttons to adjust the screen brightness and so on. even on its lowest brightness the screen is pretty bright. over all awesome monitor.

Great Monitor
I use it primarily for text (reading and writing), and for PhotoShop image editing. It's clean and sharp, & has convenient controls at lower right. B&H is awesome to deal with, and the rebate form Asus is on its way. My only compalint abt the monitor is the flimsy stand. It shakes when I use those hard buttons on the lower right--good grief! As long as I don't accidently knock into it reaching around the back, I guess it will be OK--just wish Asus hadn't cheaped-out on the stnd and had made a sturdier one.

Great monitor at a great price
I purchased this model and the ASUS VN247H-P 23.6 at the same time. I couldnt tell which one to get based off the other reviews and honestly with having them side by side, they are so close in quality I would not be able to say which one is better. I would favor the ASUS VN247H-P 23.6 only because of its black matte finish for the housing instead of the gloss. I use these monitors for editing and they are great, very sharp and well worth the low price tag, I'm about to order a 3rd.

Classy upgrade
I can't comment on ghosting, I see none, and I can't comment on performance issues related to gaming, so for that reason I give it 4 stars. For my use it gets 5 though. I see Samsung has a 23.5 for a bit less on @. But I do like ASUS products. Text is a bit streaked in some places if you look close...really close.

NO GOOD if you game. Issues.
Bad led's in this monitor and the good one's gave me huge issues with COD.I game A LOT and was not happy at all with this monitor. ... I now have the SAMSUNG B2430 Syncmaste and LOVE IT for gaming. Thanks again B&H.

Great picture for a great price
I have used this in hosptital applications on medical devices and the screen looks great. The only downside is the volume on the built in speakers doesn't get high at all.

Great Product and Value
Screen is bright, easy to set up with monitor having 3 inputs incl HDMI. Using in with my MacBook Pro and a Mini-DisplayPort to HDMI dongle. Very nice monitor.
