Summary: Monitor inoperable upon delivery as ALL ports (HDMIs, DIsplayPorts) were shifted relative to the metal frame so that none of them was accessible. Fantastic monitor. Very pricey but I believe well worth it.
I use this on a Mac Pro desktop with an upgraded graphics card for photographic image editing and video editing. I would highly recommend this monitor to image professionals and enthusiasts. Excellent monitor, profiled beautifully
I got this to upgrade from an old 31 inch Dell Ultrasharp that was wide gamut, and profiled well. Just you know, not 4K, not 10bit color, etc, and old enough that I figured it'd surprise me when I could least afford it. Had to wait for this to come in, and I'm glad I did. I purchased this Monitor for UHD multimedia application like video and photo editing. inconsistent panel quality & terrible ASUS QC

I previously ordered theBenQSW320 monitor and came with a lot of light bleeding in the corners and the puck is a gadget trust me, also it gave me a lot of trouble getting my video card to display the 10 bit, of course I returned it, thank you B&H for your great customer support. Buyer beware
I had what I thought of as a minor nuisance from day one where the monitor would reset to very low resolution and teh USB hub would not reconnect after windows awoke from sleep. ASUS insisted it was a drivers issue which kept the monitor in my possession beyond my return window but countless software updates later this intermittent problem persists. I didn't get this monitor from B&H, but will write a review anyway for my purchasing the monitor was reading others' reviews here. First one came with enough dead pixels to get replaced. Second one only had a few (less than 5) dead pixels, so kept it. ProArt calibration with Spyder5 always results in redish black. Black background is too red when calibrated with ProArt program. Excellent Monitor
The color fidelity on this monitor is excellent. I do a lot of CAD drafting (mostly in Vectorworks) and this monitor displays everything very well. there is no stepping or blurring of diagonal lines. The buttons on the side are very easy to use, though I wish more of them were programable and that the up/down button could be programed to default to volume and not brightness because I tend to adjust volume more. Sometimes I actually find the monitor a bit too bright and frequently put it on its dimmest setting, especially when I am working on something with a white background.

Very satisfactory
I decided to purchase this after reading a comment a user had left on one of the B&H Buying Guides. The NEC branded X-rite i1 Display Pro I use with my NEC monitor would not work with the Asus software so I used an X-rite Colormunki Photo to build a monitor profile. The calibration made very little difference so the monitor would have been fine without calibration. I took an older computer, installed a $90 graphics card, and installed this monitor as a continuous, random display of photographs using Fastpictureview Pro. It is the source of real joy.

Stunning Images.
I rarely write review of products I purchased but this monitor deserved my comments. I just had the monitor for about a week and everything works flawlessly. The color gamut seems to be right on comparing to my previous 24 ProArt which was calibrated with the hardware calibration tool. This is my first 4K monitor and I am simply amazed with the image quality. One minor thing is it's not possible to adjust the brightness when using any preset modes. Overall I am extremely happy with the purchase.

I had to struggle a bit before finding a true 10 bit monitor with hdmi 2.0 and all the other quality of this monitor. If you are looking for I suggest to buy it with the x-rite color pro1 or the spider 5. Because the native software is made in compability with those two tools. Otherwise you will risk to have incompatibility issues

Works Great
I've been using this monitor for one week so far and it works great. Great accurate colors with very even brightness over the whole screen. And the built-in Proart calibration system works wonderful with the x-rite i1 tool I bought for the monitor.

Great monitor for photography
This monitor was easy to set up, has great sharpness and detail in 4K. Currently use it for photography in RGB mode which what I use for my camera and software. I can see a lot more detail than before!

Poorly built, pixel will burn easily
The monitor would take a 5 star if not for two mayor issues. The usb post are not perfect. The pixels burn with no reason, I already repaired two times and I am very upset about it

So far works well like the picture in picture when restarting or if you shut off the tv mode hdmi will then populate the screen but there is a power off button on the side.
